Cutting boards for bars & cocktail programs
For a bar, the best cutting board is one that doesn't slide on a wet counter, doesn't hold citrus smell, sanitizes in the dishwasher after every shift and stores flat in the tightest back-bar. That's exactly what the CHEFEAT TPU board is built for — which is why cocktail programs are an ideal fit for our professional trial.
The three problems every bar board has
1. Wet counters make boards skate
A bar top is never dry. Wooden boards slide, thin plastic mats surf on the spill. The CHEFEAT surface is non-slip on both sides — it stays put on a wet stainless counter during a Friday rush.
2. Citrus, ginger and bitters stain and smell
Limes all night, every night. Porous boards absorb juice and start smelling like last week's service. TPU is non-porous — it scored 0 on the DIN 10955 odor-transfer test (up to 2.5 is a pass) and comes out of the dishwasher neutral.
3. No room behind the bar
Back-bar space is measured in inches. At 3.5 mm thick, the board slides into any gap — or rolls. One board per well, stored where the well is.
Where it earns its place
- Garnish prep: citrus wheels, twists, herbs — the embossed scale helps with consistent cuts
- Bends into a funnel: sliced fruit goes straight into cambros and garnish trays, not over the counter
- End of shift: into the dishwasher with the rest of the smallwares — no oiling, no special care
The board, in numbers

| Thickness / weight | 0.14 in (3.5 mm) · 19.4 oz — bends to funnel, rolls into any storage gap |
| Material | Food-grade Covestro (Germany) TPU — elastic, knife-friendly, non-porous, BPA-free |
| Sanitation | Commercial dishwasher safe · no oiling · resists deep scoring while surface is intact |
| Food contact | Independently tested: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 · LFGB · EU 2018/213 (BPA) · REACH-screened — reports with numbers |
Common questions
Does it fit a standard bar dishwasher?
Yes — at 17.3 × 12.6 in and 3.5 mm thin it fits commercial undercounter machines, top or bottom rack, and survives hot sanitizing cycles.
Will it slide on a wet stainless counter?
No — the surface is non-slip on both sides. On a very wet counter a damp bar towel underneath adds extra grip, same as with any board.
Can we test it before buying for several locations?
Yes — that's the point of our pilot program: we supply boards free for 2–3 bars, your team works on them for 14–30 days, then we talk contract pricing.
